Day 1: Arrival Hanoi
Upon arrival in Hanoi airport you are met and transfer to your hotel.

Day 2: Hanoi City Tour (BL)
Today we have full day city tour to visit highlights of Hanoi including Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, His stilt House, One Pillar Pagoda, Temple of Literature and Lunch is served at finest local restaurant in Ha Noi. Afternoon we drive to visit Ethnology museum, Quan Thanh Temple, Hoan Kiem Lake and 1hour cyclo tour in Old Quarter, enjoy water puppet show.
 
Day 3: Hanoi – Mai Chau (BLD)
Morning we drive approx 3 hours to Maichau valley the home of Muong and Thai minority groups. Here we enjoy a walking tour through many hamlets, rice paddy and streams. Tonight we will sleep on the stilt house of White Thai group.

Day 4: Mai Chau – Son La (B)
Today we drive approx 4 hours to Son La through the stunning landscape, green tea plantation, sugar can field, cassava field and dairy cattle. Afternoon you can spend your leisure shopping at local market or enjoy soaking in mineral hot spring in town.

Day 5: Son La – Dien Bien Phu (B)
Driving approx 5 hours  passing spectacular breathtaking scenery to Dien Bien Phu former Battle field in1954. Here we have a chance to visit former battle field including A1 Hill, Bunker Headquarters.

Day 6: Dien Bien Phu – Tam Duong (B)
Enjoy driving approx 7 hours through beautiful scenery to Tam Duong town the gate way to Sapa. 

Day 7: Tam Duong – Sapa (B)
Driving through beautiful scenery along the road up to Sapa former French hill station via on the Tram TonTop which consider as Heaven Gate and from her you can enjoy great view to Hoang Lien Son mountain range and admire the beauty of Silver Waterfall. Your remainder afternoon is at your leisure explore to Sapa town.

Day 8: Sapa – Tavan homestay (BLD)
Today we will start the exercise by getting approx 6 hour trekking down the Lao Chai and TaVan village passing stunning terrace rice field, meeting friendly local hilltribe people wear colorful costume on the way and enjoy picnic lunch on the way. Tonight we sleep at Giay hilltribe minority home. At dinner time we have some chat with our host.

Day 9: Tavan – Giang Ta Chai – Sapa (B)
After breakfast we continue trekking on local path to Giang Ta Chai village the home of Red Dao hilltribe who wear bright red scarf and décor with coin on the costume. We go across the Muong Hoa river by suspended bridge then trek up to main road to meet our vehicle transfer to Sapa town at lunch time. Afternoon enjoy your freetime to explore  Ham Rong mountain the home of 500 orchids and shopping at its minority market. Sleep in hotel tonight.

Day 10: Sapa – Hanoi(B)
Today we drive approx 8 hours through spectacular scenic road to Hanoi.

• 10 days/ 19 nights, 9 Breakfast, 3 Lunch, 2 Dinner.
• English/French speaking guide trekking in Sapa and Halong Bay.
• Meals as mentioned on detail itinerary (B = Breakfast, L = Lunch, D = Dinner).
• Accommodations based on 2 night homestay with Western toilet. 3 Hotel 1 night in Ha Noi, 1 night in Mai Chau, 1 night in Son La, 1night in dien Bien Phu, 1 night in Tam Duong, 2 night in Sa Pa. Hanoi hotel based on 3 stars, Dien Bien Phu is 2 star, Son La and Tam Duong hotels are basic but comfortable. ( if you wish to upgrade is available upon your request).
• Transports:  Private transfer round trip by Russian jeep up the Northwest.
• Sightseeing fees included on guided tours.

There is easy to moderate suitable to all traveler, no requirement on this trip.

What to take:
We suggest you to take suitcase and day bay and jacket in Winter Hanoi from December to March. Take long paints, long sleeve, shorts, trekking boot, T-shirt, first aid.
