Fair expected to connect economic regions (07-06-2010 03:02:48)
An international commercial fair opened in the central province of Thua Thien-Hue on June 4 to celebrate the Hue Festival 2010 and 1,000th anniversary of Thang Long-Hanoi. The event, focusing on the Central and Central Highlands key economic region, was held by CIAT-Advertising and Trade Fair joint stock Company in Ho Chi Minh City.

Attracting more than 200 domestic and foreign businesses with over 500 booths, the fair showcases socio-economic and cultural achievements of Thua Thien-Hue Province and other localities across the country. It also displays products from Thailand, Laos among handicraft and specialties of different regions. During the six-day event, seminars and investment promotion forums will also be held to foster the regional economic development.
