The heads of 20 of the largest tourist agencies in France are on a special tour of Vietnam and Cambodia (Famtour) organised by the Vietnam Airlines representative office in France from April 7-12. The Vietnam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT) has planned marketing activities in France and other Western Europe countries for late August. Vu The Binh, Director of Department of Travel under VNAT, said the road show in France would focus on promoting activities of 1,000 years of Thang Long-Hanoi. The event will be organized by the HCMC Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and Vietnam Airlines.

According to a report of the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT), around 227,800 Chinese visited the country in the first three months, up 115% year-on-year.
